Code of Conduct
Attendees and Vendors are expected to respect common-sense rules or public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Boone Comic Con, a production of Adventura Events, reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the ticket or vendor badge of any attendee not in compliance with any of the policies. Expulsion from this or any other event produced by Adventura Events may result in permanent prohibition in attending future Adventura produced events.
Weapons Policy
In accordance with the policies of the Watauga Community Recreation Center, no weapons, concealed or otherwise, are permitted on county property. Boone Comic Con will enforce this no weapons policy. Bladed weapons are not permitted. Real firearms are not allowed at Boone Comic Con. We reserve the right to treat anything that looks like a real weapon as a weapon. Attendees who choose to ignore this policy may be asked to leave the convention.
All weapons must be non-working and peace bonded. We will not allow functioning projectile weapons (i.e., including water pistols, silly-string guns, and ping-pong pistols), but things like foam nerf swords, and obviously fake laser guns that just make noise are allowed.
No clowning around or showing off in the common areas. Any weapon used in an offensive manner will be confiscated and may result in expulsion from the con.
We expect you to use good judgment, and if you have any questions about this rule, please ask us so we can clear up any disputes. That is what we are here for.
Photo Policy
By attending Boone Comic Con, you recognize that the staff and management reserves the right to take photos of members, merchandise, costumes, etc. for promotional and advertising purposes. We will not take any inappropriate photos, and if any do somehow accidentally occur, they will be deleted (if it is on a device that can delete photos) and not published.

If you have pets, please leave them at home. The Watauga Community Recreation Center will not allow animals into the building except for service animals. If your service animal is not wearing any kind of ID identifying them as a service animal, you may be stopped by security.
Anti-bullying Policy
Any bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind (verbal, physical, emotional, etc.) will not be tolerated.
Cosplay is not consent. If necessary, we will contact local law enforcement, provide escort, offer a safe place or otherwise assist those who may experience harassment to make sure they feel safe.
